Saw one of those life hack videos last week.
Assumed it might come in handy some day.

Just cooking a late breakfast of spaghetti w/ sauteed shrimp and tomatoes.

Swiss chard and collards w/ garlic on the side.

Started cutting the tomato and thought, "damn this knife is dull."

Tried the coffee cup trick (unglazed cup bottom) and the knife cut through the tomatoes like 'it through a goose.

I have a nice sharpener (Spyderco) but lose track of maintaining the kitchen blades sometimes.

For something so simple it was damn good.
Whole wheat pasta.
Shrimp sauteed w/ diced tomato and garlic w/ olive oil and sherry.
Mix of swiss chard and collard greens sauteed/steamed down in a big covered pot.

there is free Canon software to upload pictures directly from the camera,if you have the usb to mini hdmi cable,then you can edit & save the pictures all in that Canon software,are you still shooting the Canon ? you never have to take the card out of the camera at all !

yes,if you do that,get the "EOS Utility" & the "Digital Photo Professional", here http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/ ... ndSoftware click your camera & PC software.
