Just what I've read.

A least a couple discussions about them here before.

Too late in the game to make it worth the effort...and by the time you order something and get it setup and running..the fad will be over....it'll be a "has been" faster than myspace was.

Actually it is a bit more like Noni berry fluid or Mary Kaye. If you were on it at the beginning, you "mined" them readily. I remain curious as to what the "hashing" is actually accomplishing. Like any group calculation effort, there must be some goal that puts a value into online currency

I read one explanation that the "work" gets exponentially harder after every completion, that way nobody can monopolise the coin production. So, yeah i think at some point it will be impossible to finish one so whats the point? David brings up a very valid point... Whats it all for?
I have also heard that the us government wants their share. They dont have a problem with it in digital form but when it gets converted to us currency, thats when they get all bitter about it.Well, more to the point, they cant do anything about it when it is in digital form.

I had 3.4 BTC at some point in time... Sold them at a profit back when prices were in the $300 range lol :/ Then sold some fraction of one when price hit 15k.. Seems I always get out early heh.

I do have a bit of ETH.

I'm now up to holding about 18 different cryptocurrencies but ETH & BTC are my most heavily invested.

I treated Dogecoin like the joke that it is and only invested $10 in it. It's worth almost $50 now. :rotfl:
