Yuck...holy fake taste and bathed in detergents and chemicals! Gimme the real fresh stuff any time over that...I'd rather eat a can of Alpo dog food.
Made some great fajita's last week...made my own marinade from scratch....flame charred some tomatillos, several flame charred chile peppers, garlic, red onions, put in a blender, added some fresh cumin, lime rind shavings, juice of that lime, sea salt, fresh cracked black pepper.
marinaded some flank steak in it for 2 days.
Seared steak on high. When medium rare, sliced into thin strips.
Warmed up some flour tortillas on a pan..dabbing with lime juice, a smear of refried beans, a smear of sour cream (stirred a little lime juice in it too), put on some of the steak, the fine chopped seared peppers I sliced up, chopped jalapenos, some of the sauce I made.
