Finally, Adobe has added a user-friendly Control Panel applet so you can adjust Flash's settings. Most people didn't know you could block sites from storing Flash data on your computer, but it required going to Macromedia's site to do it. This is much better.

Yeah this has been a feature newly placed in 10.3...been running the beta for weeks now using both IE and FF and it works great with no issues.

Overall Adobe is doing better with their products, even Adobe X is surprisingly....light and quick, compared to recent prior versions.

The check for updates feature directs you to their page? Kinda lame.

Me too. Been doing that for years now. I just figured that it some kind of built-in updater now that there is an actual "control panel" for flash.

There has been two updates in the last month, or really two in the last two weeks.

I always download the Adobe stuff (reader & flash) using Linux. That way, there's no need for Adobe download manager, Adobe Air and other needless junk.

What I do, since I manage a lot of computers....sign up for a free account with Adobe. You then have access to their download section, where you can download the basic full install packages (without the "me-too" crap like toolbars or other junk)

I selected to block all sites from storing information in the Adobe control panel setting. However, it put back to "Allow sites to save...." automatically.

Anybody has that problem?

Sava or anybody,

Would you check the Flash Player control panel applet to see your selected options stays as your selection?

You need to close the browser and then launch it again. Then go back to the control panel to verify it.

I selected "Block all site from storing....", but when I close the browser and launch it again later, it automatically put back to the default, allow sites to save.
