Windows update

Post by CableDude »

Is there a way that I can print out a list of what updates are installed on a particular PC?

What do you have for LAN management or auditing software?
For a quick one on each PC...just run Belarc Advisor...on simple networks where I want to inventory PCs I'll run that on each PC and save the report on a shared drive...or just thumb drive or something. Save as a PDF 'n lump 'em all together. Gives more info on updates.

For larger networks...LANSweeper is free, and very detailed. Awesome tool!

I like this idea. Yeah, that might be good for me to do, but to have someone else do it may be a little difficult. :o

I have spiceworks installed, but really have yet to play around with it. Never enough time. I'll look at belarc advisor.

Belarc Advisor is a tiny app you install/run on each PC....takes like 45 seconds to run...spits out a report in html.
