I love it

I need a name... and breed if I'm wrong.

Age as well.. I like to know these things

Also appears like one of those before and after pics.
I find it kind of amusing.

Yep. We have a massive prairie dog colony about a half mile from our place. It's not uncommon to see hundreds of them when you drive by the place on any given day...PsykoPenguin wrote:Yes, that's exactly it. Is that a prairie dog?
I'm digging these wildlife pictures, they make excellent backgrounds..

I wish I lived there just so I could see the prairie dogs. It must be a nice view... what makes it even better is that you get to see it everyday.
Though what I'd really like to see is an Armadillo, see much of those?

The last trip we made to Albuquerque we saw about a dozen or so dead ones along the side of the road over the course of the trip. I've only seen one live one since moving out here to Amarillo. I've seen a few Road Runners tho...PsykoPenguin wrote:That is... awwwwwwwwwwwesssoooooooooooooome...

Roadrunners you say...

*shrug* I just immediately think of him whenever I hear about a roadrunner.
Though such small and agile creatures are difficult to spot so I'm not surprised you've only seen a few rather than assloads of em.
Indeed I am... currently rummaging through the pics... digging the play fighting of Linus and Pumpkin... kind of looks like Linus is about to eat Pumpkin.Indy wrote:In case you're interested, here's the folder in which I keep all the animal shots I've posted:

Who's the dog on the left in this pic?

I didn't see a name.. maybe I should look through the other pics.. might be something there..
Edit: Nevermind, I found it. Pancho. Had a feeling I'd find it.
However now I'm interested in their breeds and ages.

Pancho is our Rat Terrier, we got him as a pound puppy about 4 years ago...he was about 9 months when we got him so he's pretty close to being 5 years old now. Linus is a Shetland Sheepdog, we picked him up from a breeder in Indiana about 3 years ago. His birthday is around the beginning of November, so he just turned four. Great dogs, both of them. Odd and quirky in their individual ways...a couple of the best dogs we've had to this pointPsykoPenguin wrote:Who's the dog on the left in this pic?

now is that a donkey or a mule or a hairy horse? o_O
Hmm... What kind of bird is that?
I'm going to guess that is an otter, me like it.
Can't say I'm all into the insects but they're neat nonetheless. Though I'm just going to give it a guess and say a praying mantis... the spider im not too sure..
