No Buzz on Black Ops?

Just wondering. Is it supposed to be anything special or just a rehash?

Same graphics engine, more guns to choose from, large amount of maps.
General consensus seems to be if you like the series you will like the new one, but nothing astonishingly new.
No more quick scoping it seems.

Won't get it, I was done with Call of Duty after I played 4
If the Gods will it, perhaps EA will release BF1943 on PC one of these days.

I enjoyed the last one but I don't think I'm ready for more of the same at the going price. I'll probably give it some time until I see a price in the $30's.

I saw that the other day. That's what got me thinking that that was about the only real ad I had seen for it. Not the usual hype and buzz as the first one. I even brought it up with a couple of people at work and although they play regularly they hadn't even heard of the new one.

Unreal, Call of Duty is sinking some serious cash into marketing.

Im pretty heavy on Playing COD but by far my favorite is COD MW 4.
I didnt like COD MW2 so much, and Black ops has similar gameplay and that kinda bugs me,but other wise Im going to wait and get it in a month or two to see if the prices drop,if not whatever Ill be buying it.
Another reason Im willing to get Black Ops,They have bunch of new features such as sharing gameplay with friends,lots more maps,customizing of guns,and my favorite reporting hackers,patchers or Modders and with Modded controllers,which by the way Pisses me off. Directly to Black Ops support.and they also constantly patch anything wrong with the game and so on.
Issue about quick scopes...im not really sure about that but I hope it's true,about being impossible to quick scope, as it was hard to tell if was really a quick scope or auto aim boot.(hack that automatically aims at enemy and just shoot and get the kill)
