This is absolutely crazy! Shorts and barbeque weather a few days ago...this morning it was fire up the wood burner! Shasta Lake is full and just drop dead gorgeous however...first time seeing that in many a year. It will probably soon do a flip around...and break heat records next.

OMG A single data point!

Surely we should toss out _years_ of data points. Or maybe its an outlier. Who knows, really. Somebody has got to stand up to "experts" and "scientists" who do "research" and "peer review". Is it you? It is, isn't it.

Lordy be, we're all about to be saved from the Devil's scientific method.

Thanks!

We set a record high for this time of year a couple of days ago...99 degrees. In Connecticut. During May. :wth: We usually only see the 90's in July and August.

From what I was hearing a while back our area had the warmest March in history, and I think April was a very dry month compared to most others. Rather hard not to believe global warming when you look at Sat pictures from the glaciers shrinking... what else explains that?

You can choose not to believe Al Gore, that's fine. Tell me, who would you believe? Perchance, those involved in the George C Marshall Insttitute.

It's good to take in all viewpoints for the simple fact that we've had warming and cooling periods prior to the industrial revolution. Man's contribution to global warming has to be weighed agaisnt good ole Mother Nature's. I still believe in being a good steward of the environment.

Indeed, examination of data rather than reflexive or political gainsay.

Periods of warming and cooling relate to the shifts in the jet stream as well as natural catastrophes.

As a fellow New Jerseyean, you must remember childhood romps outdoors sans sunscreen. Evan, there is something else afoot, it is not simply the prevailing winds.
