Didn't even consider the similarities when I took the picture. We were driving out of the canyon yesterday when I noticed the lighting on this particular peak and thought it would make a good picture. It wasn't until I processed it through photomatix tonight that the similarity hit me :)

Beautiful shot, I miss that landscape. It's like a soft ancient Canyonlands. Ever do any camping out there?

Will have to pay attention my next Paramount flick.
