No cigarettes for a week

I've been very tempted to smoke but haven't touched a cigarette in over a week as of today. Had quit for over a decade but started up again back in October. A definite love/hate type thing for me.

Of course I drink too much and am in the middle of a very long low point as far as my personal life goes, but one thing at a time

I wish that after I had quit I’d never started back again. Stick with it if you can, it’s definitely not easy.

Thanks RoundEye, good advice.

I too wish I'd never started again.

i find that not getting overwhelmed by trying to take on too many things and acceptance is key for a lot of things.

I also stopped but sadly started again . Must Must quit .
I did the quiting thing a bit hard , went for a five day hike in the Fish River Canyon without smokes cause I did not want to carry al the butts with me ( don't want to throw it all over the place either )

Yum , just made myself a banana shake . One banana , cinnamon to taste , sugar to taste although not too much and milk

I quit for almost a year about 15 years ago..I sooooo wish I had not started again. I can barely take a drag now with out choking, I can't take a deep breathe with my chest hurting.
I just don't have the commitment to quit like I did before. I quit when I was having a problem holding on to things because of my M.S. I was afraid I was going to drop a cigarette and set our home on fire, or burn someone. It was easy then..quit cold turkey, with the help of my friend Big Red. And when you can't hold it..you can't smoke it.
Gotta try again..and soon.

I quit for about ten months myself. Cold turkey myself. Toothpicks and Nintendo helped. They told me to reduce stress and heat when I found out I had MS. Yeah right. I live in Louisiana and I have a five year old son. Either of those two ain’t gonna happen. I’d like to quit again but I’m not near ready for the stress levels involved right now.
