Need to make a training video, software suggestions?

Post by thechemgeek »

Well, first off, I'm glad to see my login still works...lol.

Anyway, just searching around for software to help me make a training video for my company. It would involve PowerPoint slides, some video, voice over and screen capture of using some company software. So far, one of the best ones I've seen is at:

http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.asp (see their video demo)

Which is fine...almost perfect! I'm just wondering if there are others out there before pitching this software to my boss. $300 isn't much consider the cost of find a 3rd party to do it. Any thoughts...let me know.

Thanks! Oh...and nice to see you all! :)

Pinnacle Studio is a big name, widely used.
I have a few clients who do video making for their profession, that's what they use.
