Well I know you cant always trust benchmarks. Try using SiSoft Sandra or 3DMark2000 and see what you get.
Is it just the benchmark or does your computer seem slow?

ok, my cpu is an amdk6-2 400...th 3dmark2000 didnt give me a score with eth demoversion..but i posted it on thier online database and it said 39 for my cpu :/...i think thats awful!! not sure, tell me what you guys think

I would try Sisoft Sandra benchmarking test. Its is widely used and extremely dependable.
