Humboldt Bay

Post by Humboldt »

Friend of mine has been tethering his zodiac to another friend's 30' sailboat at the marina about 10 minutes from my house.

Went out twice this weekend, on the zodiac a few times and once on the sailboat for the sunset

Not sure on the year, but the zodiac and motor are all original  I want to say '77.

That's DePlano's woman in the scuba gear, going down to scrub the hull of the boat.

Deb, there's always room for one more.

Didn't sound like you were.

Cankerous motor. I guess it's supposed to slip into neutral if you release the throttle, in case you fall over board. Well this one just keeps motoring. If you fell out you'd better be able to swim pretty fast :D

I'm really diggin' pictures #2 & #4, especially #4...colors & the reflection on the water look really cool. The picture of the bridge reminds me a lot of the bridge that I used to cross a lot out in southern Maryland near Pax River Naval Air Station...

I like that one too Indy. The colors complemented each other really well and I took a bunch of shots trying to get a good one. Hard to do in a zodiac :D

69 Zodiac and 69 Johnson motor. We just need the Jacque Cousteau beanies, or Team Zissou
