Because George Bush hates black people.

I don't want Obama to be president, I think he speaks a lot of hot air but has no substance, and a term with Hillary will be like a term with Bill, and I didn't think he was that bad, plus I think we need a change, time for a democrat to be president (i think its good to go back and forth to bring in new perspectives), plus I like her stances on issues more than Obamas.

Can you give us examples of this "hot-air" you speak of? And how are we changing if another Clinton gets into office?

Pretty much everything he says, he is just speaking to speak, telling the people what they want to hear, folding and giving in to popular thought instead of standing on his own, there is no substance to him, just my opinion.

So, nothing in particular stands out? I mean it looks like you'll be voting republican again because Billary won't be winning the nomination.

Fair enough. Personally I think the country will get a better option then President Bush regardless of who is elected, but Obama is my own personal preference.

What on earth made you think of that? It will take weeks of water-boarding to get that out of my skull.

He's telling people what they want to hear? Yet its McCain and Hillary who wanted the gas tax dropped, and Obama that said we have to take the blame for some of it and drive less?

President Hillary Rodham Clinton is the single scariest thing I've heard since the Halloween movie theme when I was a kid. :(

Then you made the right choice, cuz she's the underbitch against Obama and would be against McCain.

I think McCain would be the underdog against either of them. Simply put alot of people want a change and the Republicans are going to be hurt by that. In particular in Congress where the Dems will likely roll to big wins in both branches.

Dems in congress haven't done squat so far, but maybe with a Dem prez.....

Kinda hard to do something when you don't have the numbers to actually do something. Just being in the majority doesn't mean you can do much. You have to have the numbers to avoid filibusters. Dems don't have that.

Hillary beats Obama, which won't happen, you can be sure that people will come out in droves to make sure that she doesn't take office. I know plenty of Democrats that can't stand her guts and would rather vote McCain than for that She Devil. She has this air about her that people just don't like, nevermind that she's one shady ass bitch.

No it's a perfectly cromulent argument.

It takes 60 votes in the Senate to avoid a filibuster. That means that even if the Dems have 55 they still need 5 Republicans to cross the aisle. That's why a party can be in the majority and yet still not have the numbers to truly make changes.

I couldn't agree more. The economy was in much better shape during Bill's terms than either of Daddy Bush or Baby Bush terms of recession, JMO.

What I want to know is where and how Obama came up with the 16 million dollars his tax returns say he has.

With only a 100,000 dollar salary for the last 6 years, before that a 65,000 dollar income as a state reprenative for very few years, and the only other paying job hes ever had was as a city alterman which doesn't pay squat.
Anyone besides me notice a pecular oder hovering in the background?
