Yeah ECS has been around a while, more known for their motherboards. Can probably find one a few bucks cheaper from XFX or EVGA

I have an old ECS board that has been going strong for years. Have not tried their video cards though.

What do you guys think of Palit cards?
I see them on the net, but they don't sell them in my local[PDX,OR].
I'm interested in the "
Palit GeForce 8600GT Super+1GB", I can find it for $230!
Thanks in advance,

Good review, Palit as a brand seems good, but the extra memory doesnt seem to help it at all.

I got a ECS board a few years ago to keep a good P4 cpu running cheap. Never have had a problem with it.

ECS = The suck from way back when. They used to make cheap mobos that died all the time, but that was back in 2001~
My opinion is for you to stick to the bigger brands (I.E Asus, MSI, BFG or even XFX).
