The man who was pinned under the car would be my uncle. He may very well survive but his chances of walking are slim to none.
Some much for a better 2008.

I am deeply sorry to hear of your uncle's injury, and in complete empathy with the "helpless" feelings you must be engaging in this time of sadness. May be he in the best hands possible.
