I am trying to add two additional usb ports using the header on my SE6, the only problem is I can't find any long enough to reach the header. Can anyone tell if it would hurt to extend the cables? Where do I get the shielded cable or do I need shielded cable? I know I can phisically solder in extra lenght, but will this cause any problems? I am trying to add the usb ports to the front of my case so if anyone has seen a pre made bay sized piece that would help also,I do not want a hub because I am out of space.
