I shut mine down every night. Outrageous light bills keep from keeping them up now 24/7.

I did some re-wiring of cables in my office and had to temporarily shut down all 4 PC's including my server. Due to that none of my computers have been up for more then 10 hours.

Usually though my server runs a month before it's rebooted.

I'm up 24/7...but we've had a few Windows Updates lately that warrant a reboot. Security of PC > uptime.

I only have 5 hours. I can't keep my PC on all the time anymore. My ATI x1600 pro might blow up. :(

Eh 6 days, was a few months prior to that tho. NOD did something weird and I had to re-start.

AVG?!? Has that thing ever caught a virus for you? I don't trust AVG. There's another free anti-virus which is really good. It shields your e-mail, instant messaging programs, has a network shield, outlook shield, P2P shield, Web Shield, and even a Standard shield. This baby will pick up on a trojan before it even infects your computer! Then with one click, you can either repair or delete.. or quarantine... which is pointless IMO.

Here's the link.. I'm sure you've heard of it. http://www.avast.com/
It owns all! Seriously. Maybe you've tried it.. it does use more resources than AVG.. but it also DOES more. Sorry for going off-topic dude! hehe
Also, look what CNET rated it: Image

I think the longest uptime I've had on my server was 2 weeks.

Used both Avast and antivir...was not that impressed with antivir as it discovered things that weren't virus' and had a daily popup ad included with the install. Avast is still my favorite freebie to date.

oh and my uptime is laughable...recently installed Vista...seems like ever effing program nowadays needs a restart just to be 'properly' installed.
