Morrison set to return to ring
this could make things interesting if he comes back as a contender and not an overweight and overage pretender

yeah - I read about this the other day ... said he's had like 6 or 7 HIV tests since he's been training and they've all been negative - they're saying his original diagnosis was a misdiagnosis ...
I always liked Morrison ... his technical skills weren't great, but when the kid was on (and not partying during training camp), he had all the heart in the world ... just kept comin' and kept comin' ...
I hope he's left his demons in the past ...

He did go 6 rounds before Lennox took him out, but that was a while ago. In the picture in this link he looks to be in great shape, but I think he's admitted to using roids before, so......YARDofSTUF wrote:At 6'2" with a weak chin hes got a long way to go.

Anyhow, the division is weak right now, so anything can happen. But it's been a long time, his 1st few fights should be telling.

Late in the day. I'm tired and somehow forgot about Wlad, you are right, he'd kill Morrison. Valuev has only faced mediocre fighters so far, I'd like to see how he does when he steps up. David Tua is also coming back, and could be a force if he can drop weight.YARDofSTUF wrote:I dont think its that weak.
I think Klitchsko and Valuev can beat him with little trouble.
looks like The Duke is back

linkMorrison gets KO in return!
By Brady Crytzer at ringside
Early results from Chester, WV: In his first bout in over ten years, former heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison (47-3-1, 41 KOs) scored a second round knockout over John Castle (4-3). Castle had a good first round, but in round two, the 38-year-old Morrison decked him for the count with a colossal left hook. Time was 1:49.

Valuev is the worst heavyweight, but his size is awkward and he fights odd too, so thats why he wins. Hes just too tall.DV wrote:Late in the day.
