Which video card

Right now i have a Radeon x300SE video card,Pci express. I thought it was an x600 but that makes no difference. My computer has windows xp home MCE 2005. It also says that i have a, Hauppauge Win Tv PVR PCI II (26xxx). I have my computer hooked up to my tv and record shows and watch them later but i use this function less and less.
My question is, I want to replace the video card with one thats better for gaming since my wife likes to use my computer to play games on because its newer. If i just replace the vid card, Will i still be able to record from my tv? Is that what the Hauppauge is for? Also i think this has a 350 watt power supply and would i have to change that? I have 3 gigs of ram so i should be good there. My computer is a HP m1180n if that helps. Also could someone recommend a better card than i have for playing games that will not cost me an arm and a leg? You people have been very good at helping me with other problems i have had so i'm sure you can with this also.

Thanks, Kevin

Do you know what power supply you have now, make or model?

Assuming that you need a power supply and a video card, whats ur budget?

It says my power supply is 300 watts. Not sure what you mean by make or model? Are you talking about my power supply? Here is a link to my computer specs. Maybe you can look at what i have and get some idea. As for my budget,I was hoping i could get a decent card in the $ 300.00 to 400.00 range..
Thanks, Kevin

It would be a good idea to upgrade your power supply from 300w.

I agree with shaggy onupgrading the PSU, newer video cards suck down a lot more power.

EDIT: Your motherboard is mirco ATX, and I dont see a pcie slot on it from the pic, is the x300 a card or onboard. Also you may have a slimmer powersupply because of the micro atx and case size.
