Please help...i've searched and googled myself to death!
I had a wireless network using a d-link router (DI-514) a d-link wireless network adapter (D-link air DWL-650) and a Linksys wireless adapter. (2 desktops and one laptop)

when i purchased a new laptop I upgraded to the Linksys Wireless G router (WRT54GS)...now i can't connect the dlink Air to the new linksys router..i've tried to configure, but i'm no computer expert...it drives me mad that i can no longer contact dlink as they don't offer customer service on my network card..I belive it has something to do with the setup on the linksys..used the wpa(?) setting so I could configure my own password...there doesn't seem to be an option for that on the Dlink Air...

Any help in laymans terms would be greatly appreciated....

Thanks in advance

What operating system? If you have winXP SP 2, you can let windows manage the dlink network card. Then you should be able to set it up.

I don't think that older card supports WPA encryption.

I agree...I got the linksys notebook adaper today....still having a problem connecting. I actually had it working, but felt it was too slow..called tech support...and now it doesn't work

Lyksys customer support sucks IMO...this is the second time they've advised me of something and i ended up worst than when i initially called.

anyhoo...today's problem is the adaptor is inactive.....
