There are 2 computers in my house and they share a connection. One is at 4500kbps (celeron 500mhz, windwos 2000) and the other is slower (new comp) 3800kbps (amd windows xp, amd athlon 64.) Any ideas why its slower?

Easiest answer abesnting necessary data:
Distance = speed. Period. Closer to the source = better speed.

What kind of connection do they share? DSL or Cable? How do they share the connection? Wired or Wireless?

This is important for proper diagnostics.
The ONLY stupid question is the one you dont ask
