three of my friends and i decided this weekend that we are going to New York city for new years... and i heard from my friends that live in ny that i shpould buy tickets to a club that is near downtown where the ball drops. they told me if i don't get a ticket to one of the places and don't get to downtown ealry in the day then we will miss out and not be able to be where the action is. someone told me they thought a sight was called nycparty.com, but i checked and nothing came up... i would like to get tickets to one of the clubs or whatever as soon as possible. can anyone please send me info on websites, phonenumbers, etc so i can figure out how to maximize my new years experience in NYC? thankyou

Going to be a zoo here. An expensive Zoo.
Do you know the name of the Club you want to go to? Im not sure about any clubs being at times square itself. Im sure most of them will be hoppin. Webster Hall is a big place. Not sure how popular Limelight is anymore but that was a hoppin place. It was in a old decommissioned (not sure thats the word to use) church.

I was not aware that you need tickets just to go to the streets of Times Square. You just have to go early enough that you can get a place and you can't bring any bags with you. Security is tight so expect delays. I will ask around to make sure tho. I never heard of needing tickets or paying to go to Times Square before unless its something new.
