when bf2 was released i heard that if you tried to install bf1942 when bf2 was installed first, that it would mess up bf2. after a few patches, does anyone know if this was, or still is a problem?

yeah it screws up the registry for some strange reason.. even after you uninstall BF2 and try to reinstall it.

You can install 42 fine with BF2 installed. Just don't uninstall it.
Respect it.
