Im sure I have this posted in the wrong forum but I couldnt figure out which one to post it to. Feel free to move it. I was wondering if there was any way or a program to make the color behind the text on my desktop icons transparent or remove it totaly.
Thanks

Ya this is more a software forum thread but thats ok.
Look for a theme or theme editor, there must be a few out there to make 2k pro look like XP, should have the option there.
maybe its even in win 2k pro, goto "my computer" "properties" "advanced" "performance settings" and look for an unchecked icon option if its there. I really dont remember much about 2k pro.

There is nothing in Windows 2000 that will do it. I will look for some sort of theme editor. I am assuming by your post that this is an option in Windows XP . Thanks for the reply.

yeah, in XP with the visual options you can have the icons just with text, no background color.
