**** lets all teach the kids that the stork brings the baby and that the tooth fairy is real.

Evolution is a Theory not a Fact, should they teach it. Sure because it is an interesting subject, hasnt been proven or disproven. Perhaps one of these children will someday solve it. They should teach both main belifes of how life started and let the kids form their own conclusions.

What is the scence of creationism? In a science class one teaches science, there is no science to creationism. Nothing you can sit down and prove, so explain why it should be taught. Say where the gaps are, and say we need to look into where the missing steps are, but it is not science to say "well we can't figure this out, it must be god"

Which of both theories will be taught? Evolution, creationism, intelligent design, or how Marduk slew Tiamat and made the world from her flesh?

Besides, the main difference between evolution and intelligent design is that evolution is a theory, and intelligent design is a philosophy. Science is composed of theories; the theory of relativity, electrical theory, quantum theory, newtonian theory. A theory has conditions where it can be disproven, a philosophy cannot really be disproven, only believed or disbelieved. That's not to say that intelligent design or even creationism should not be taught, but keep them with the rest of the philosophy studies and out of biology class.
Throw rock - Hit other guy with stick - Throw rock with stick on the end of it - Shoot stick with rock on end of it at guy with curved stick - Hit rock with fire, make copper, bronze, iron, steel rocks to put on ends of stick - Put fire in tube, throw rock with fire. - Put fire in metal tube, throw metal rock with fire. - Put fire in metal rocks, drop exploding rocks on other guy - Drop rocks made of unstable atomic metals on other guy - Head for the asteroid belt.
