Hate - Behind Blue Eyes...Limp Bizkit
He doesn't butcher the song, BUT he just sings it, no feeling, no ANGER, No nothing, he's just making noise because he likes to hear himself.
Thats the one that irks me the most, constantly,
Hate - The Last Kiss...Pearl Jam
There has never been a more horrible friggin noise then this, worse then Fingernails on a chalk board.
Somebody should shove them in burlap sacks along with a few rocks and take a drive down to the lake and putthem out of our misery.
Thers more, but them two really bug me

I can't name a favorite, so I'll name a few.

Heart's (The Love Mongers) version of Battle of Evermore
Grand Funk's version of Gimme Shelter...(Killer)
Hendrix's version of "All Along the Watchtower" (what else to say?)
Hendrix's version of "Little Wing"
Robben Ford...Chevorlet...(Killer killer killer)
Sara McLachlan's version of "Gloomy Sunday". (shivers)
Rare Earth's version of "(I Know) I'm Losing You"
Frijid Pink's version of "House of the Rising Sun"

Worst? Dunno....

Bananna Rama's version of an old Shocking Blue song. "Venus" (El-sucko)

Along with the aforementioned FNM's 'Easy', their cover of the Bee Gee's 'I Started A Joke' is quite excellent.

I also enjoy Manfred Mann's cover of Bruce Springsteen's 'Blinded By The Light' (and hate Springsteen's original version).

Oh yeah...Van Halen's in....I can't say I like it better than the Kinks version but it's pretty good. The Kinks were into heavy before there was such a thing.

Good question Lefty. Off the top of my head I'll say Social Distortions version of "Ring Of Fire". Might not be my fav. though.

Also like Metallica's version of "Green Hills"
