Bad news re MissTynker
She suffered a relapse today, Saturday, and is on her way back to the hospital for what looks like could be another stay. It looks like the lung has collapsed again. I'm sure your best wishes or prayers will help her overcome any difficulties.
Not sure if a mod will want to combine this with the current thread but i thought this the quickest way to let people know.

G-dsspeed, Tynk!

I want to learn more and more to see as beautiful what is necessary in things; then I shall be one of those who make things beautiful. Amor fati: let that be my love henceforth! I do not want to wage war against what is ugly. I do not want to accuse; I do not even want to accuse those who accuse. Looking away shall be my only negation. And all in all and on the whole: some day I wish to be only a Yes-sayer.
I'm sorry.. I didn't see this thread until today!

I know what it is to be the patient and want out, but sometimes they rush you out too soon to. I feel that this is the reason for the readmission. I know it sucks to be there, but make them make sure your ready for release before sending you home again. Been there, done that. Your in my prayers also.

Stay strong, Tynker.
One day at a time, hon.
Update
She's home again. The lung needed to be drained of excess fluid but hadn't collapsed. She is resting and taking things easy before she tries to save half of America again. Hopefully this time a full recovery and fit to go fishing this weekend.
That's great that you are home Tynk.
I agree with Blebs about early release but that seems to be the trend these days.
Was the fluid in the lung or in a sac outside it???
Mrs. C had to have fluid drained when she had a pneumonia a few months back. The doc went in with a long needle and used a portable ultrasound to guide it and get the fluid out. We feel your pain Tynk. Get well soon, but take your time. It will be a slow recovery if Mrs. C is any indication.

Hiya Gang!
Round two!! and I think it was TKO!!...but I am home again.
Once again...what lovely words from you in support...thank you ever ever so much!! You will never know how much I appreciate them.
Rest is the word...dang it! I had a fluid build up in between the lung itself and the pleura (sp?) , a complication of the pnemonia...so once again I could not breathe..felt exactly like the lung had collapsed yet once again!! It was aspirated and part of the fluid sent off for examination...more as just a routine type of thing...all feel that it was a complication of the pnemonia...as well as the lung collapse.
Its good to be home!! I will bounce in off an on as much as I can
Hugzzz!!, Misty
