Which one

PS, disregaurd the "Optical Drive" writting on #1. That'd be taken off of the door somehow.

I voted #1,

mostly because it looks like it has better flow through ventilation and the side fan intake.

actaully though, neither one looks big enough for all the drives I use.
I would have to see the door open on #1.

#1 prolly has better airflow..

but I like the design of #2 better...
minus the cheesy 'shock' writing.

#2 has a little LCD screen at the bottom between the silver, which is kind of cool. Tells the temps and stuff like that, doesn't really change any functionality.

The use of this PC will be the DMX Lighting controler (running elation compu-pro software) for a church. It'll basically be their light board.

It's going to have a 2.8GHz or 3.2GHz P4 E-core, so I keep telling him that the vent/funnel would be a very, very good thing to have, 'specially since these cases are mATX, which basically means lousy air flow.

I think #1 looks smoother, and more proffesional. He says it looks like a plain cheap econo-box. Odd.

The top one looks like an Ionicbreeze, and the bottom one looks like some Brookstone basic but fancy carry-on luggage piece.

Neither of them can mount the cd drive the right way? Well then neither get my vote.

I don't like either.

mATX

CD drive = 5.25" thick, turning it sideways means you only need it to be as thick as the floppy drive, 3.5". That's good for the whole small effect.

Besides, CD drives have verticle mounting tabs. It's all good.

My father said the second one looked like a briefcase.

Keep'em votes coming!

Of the two...I like the appearance of #2 the best...however I voted for #1...just because of the possible heat issue. Does'nt matter much how nice it looks...."iffen" ya burn the critter up!

I've used case #1. For a MicroATX case, it is very easy to assemble and work with.

Do something about the side panel on the second one.
Then it's all good.
