xp. cd doesnt change contans when replaced

running xp pro, new instalation - when i change cd media the cd still showing the contans of the old nedia. i need to restart the pc in order to see the contanse of the new media . appreciate your help
F5 should do the same thing. If you have autorun turned off, try turning it on again.
