Why am I having trouble finding a hotel with high-speed internet access, in the Cedar Point/Sandusky Ohio area?

most of them just say 'data port' and we all know what that means

Might check with Banshee and see what he knows about. I haven't been up there in years, but when I was, there weren't that many hotels/motels/notels to choose from, so it's not surprising that's its hard to find one with HSIA.

Most Marriott Residence Inn's have them. I checked the Sandusky Ohio area and there are like 15 properties of various marriott brands and most of them have high speed internet.

I reccommend the Residence Inn. Free bkfast, larger rooms, usually free high speed internet, free managers specials in the afternoon.

I doubt I'll ever stay at a mainline Hilton/Marriott if I can find their businessmans equivalent. They're cheaper, and offer more bang per buck. Granted, you don't get the marble lobby. But do you really care that much how swanky the lobby is?

yeah i am with Bouncer,

the residence Inn's are really sweet, plus I find that msot of time the internet access is free at the Inn vs a hotel, and it is more reliable and faster.

The only thing I usally lose in a hotel is a real nice resturant and a bar...and since I expense everything I like to go to town, but can always go out for it

cool, thanks Bouncer.

I went through Orbitz, and as far as I could tell none of the ones they had listed had high-speed internet access

go to the marriott site. :)

PS: If you stay at hotels more than once a year it's probably worth it to join their club. Free hotel stays = money in your pocket.
