Someone took the radiator off of their motorcycle and put it on their computer?
Seriously though...would surely look impressive.
Two things I notice....the overhang it has on your motherboard....most likely would be too much for 2x of my cases due to the power supply.
And they make the statement "Note that there will be beneficial cooling effects due to this overhang on components surrounding the socket - most notably, there may be secondary cooling of the Northbridge if passive cooling is used on it." I disagree with that, if I'm interpreting that correctly. I think they're saying the overhang somehow would cool another passive HS that it hangs over. I don't see how! If anything, it would diminish cool airflow from passing over the north bridge HS. Raise the temp of air that gets to it also, since what little air is getting to the north bridge HS has now passed through this TT HS, so it's warmer.

I have a Cooler Master with heat pipes, the IHC-H71. It works extremely well with my 100% load OCing. The one in this thread has more, and longer, pipes. I'd expect it to work even better.

don't compare this to a motorcycle. Motorcycles are for Bum Boys. I love my Computer and will not have my hobby ruined by comparing it to a two wheel rump pump machine.
