I have the Saphire 9800 and ASUS a7n8x-e mobo and i cannot seem to enable 8xAGP?? It is set to 8xAGP in my bios...but if i do a START>RUN>SMARTGART ..the settings don't come up as using 8xAGP and if i change it and restart my computer it goes back to the off selection.

Also, if i use the nvidia AGPmem test it says "AGPmemory total=0 free=0"

If i go to ATI display settings it has my AGP set to "off" and i cannot change the slider to 4x or 8x AGP...after restart it goes back to "off".

..and in Device Manager is there suppose to be a listing of two cards under "video"? i have "radeon 9800pro" and "radeon 9800pro-secondary". (this didn't happen with my geforce 4 ti 4200)

any suggestions?

I have the ATI Radeon 9700 Pro. This also shows as 2 cards in device manager. The second is the DVI-I connector that allows you to connect a second screen with that kind of input. This assumes you are using the analogue output for your monitor now. As for the enabling 8x AGP have you the latest drivers? Either the Sapphire ones or the latest catalyst? If you have the Sapphire drivers installed maybe try the ones from the ATI site? Is direct x 9 installed and updated? Checked mine and it is at 8x AGP.
