ive seen people sleep standing up, people sleep in the shower.. i think most of the military people on here will agree that its possible to sleep just about any way when your tired enough.

I do agree with that, if you are going to pass out from exhaustion you cant' fight it.

When I was in training we’d get a platoon all set up and dispersed for a night ambush. About 3:30am (when they’d fall asleep(dumb dumb dumb)) we’d sneak in and take the bolds out of their rifles which they had clenched in their hands. A few minutes later, we’d attack them.

When that happens in training, you realize that sleeping on watch will only cause embarrassment (and a good ass kicking) but if you sleep in the jungle, you’re dead.
People will forget what you said... and people will forget what you did... but people will never forget how you made them feel.

Sleep is the one thing a soldier can not afford to do.
Respect it.
