Thanks much for the link earthmofo, although I'm afraid the first place I looked for tutorials (as well as the first place I query practically everything else) is google; the problem is, that the more popular searches (such as "Macromedia Flash Tutorials") usually return a bunch of spam links and other similar non-useful links.

Is ther esomething specific you want to do in the tutorial? I have always thought that the built-in tutorials are pretty good at teaching the tools.

Actually I very much agree, the things I know about Flash so far, I learned through the tutorials included in the program; but since I saw the question posted I thought maybe there were other good tutorials that were also user-friendly (or "user friendlier").

Joe is right on with the link he gave. Flashkit tutorials are about the best I have found. I usually can pick up new programs very easily, but flash has done it's best to make me feel like an idiot.. Layers, timelines...aaahhhhggg!!! The tutorials at flashkit have helped.. :D

Either I am getting to old or I need to clean up and defrag my brain!!!! :(

Good luck!
