looking for a good registry cleaner..

Post by koldchillah »

I have to clean up about 60 PC's.. We really don't want to re-install windows, these PC's have barely been used so I just want to remove all programs, scan for adware, defrag, remove temp files, tweak the OS a bit, etc..

I'd like to know a good freeware registry cleaner I could use to get out all the uninstall leftovers I will be accumulating.. I've got a few in mind but I want to know what some of you guys use.. My luck, I'll pick the one that hoses every registry it touches.

TIA! :)

I use RegClean its made by jv16
but they no longer have it on download mirrors and thus have stopped developing it. BUT I still use it and it does what I want it to do.

http://www.hardtware.com/download/RegCl ... up.exe.exe
get it up, get it in, get it out, and don't mess up my hair!

Regsupreme is the best... finds more entries than any program I've ever used in my life. I've used them all. Or at least 99.5% of them.

You have to pay $$ for it tho.

Yes I know... you don't need to be an ass in every freaking reply that you make.

IF i asked for a free regcleaner, and someone suggested one that only costs 12 dollars, and I could use on all my computers, I would consider that a valid suggestion.

His choice whether to take it or not.

koldchillah, I've been using WT Registry Cleaner XP for about 2 weeks. It's a freebie and I have no complaints about the program. Does a fine job IMO.
