Post by axtrader »

CBS News is reporting that the projected Iowa Caucus winner is Kerry. Edwards will come in second, and Dean will be third.

Hmmmmm, interesting.....

Kerry Wins Iowa......

Post by Spicer »

Sen. John Kerry of Massachusetts won the Iowa Democratic presidential caucuses Monday night, NBC News projected based on more then three-quarters of the precincts reporting. Kerry and Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina appeared to break away from the rest of the candidates Monday, running far ahead of Howard Dean and **** Gephardt, who will drop out of the race Tuesday, aides told MSNBC-TV.

Definitely happy with Edwards finish tonight. He is my choice of the Democrat candidates. Although Im not a fan of Gephardt I do feel for him. Talk about a bad night.

Glad Edwards had a good showing since the press has all but ignored him. The press's favorite topic comes third. :p I don't feel sorry for Gephardt at all. I'm glad he's bowing out early.

Speaking for myself I want a candidate that will give me options later in the year. My fear is that the Democrats will nominate a guy who just isnt a good option for me. Thankfully my #1 choice finished #2 tonight and my #2 choice finished #1.
