You can disable this feature. Go to system properties/Advanved/Startup and recovery. Untick auto restart in system failure.

That option is to restart. He said shut down.

i was meaning that...
sometimes window xp will automatically shut down by itself ..
wat i wanna ask why .. why or what cause it to happen ?
