This is my pc:

MB: Abit KR7A-Raid
GC: Abit GF3 TI200 DVI 128mb

MODEM: Alcatel Speedtouch USB (MANTA - GREEN)

The problem I have It's this:
Time Ago, Modem goes very better, but after my Win XP Pro, goes down, and, after modem don't work, graphic card don't, so I after I saved my files, I format HD, I reinstall the OS and All Application, but when I install the modem, It no longer work, It is found by OS, but I don't receive dsl line, but isn't a problem of line, cause, in the second pc, but not mine, the modem go and also the line.
SO I think that it's a my problem, maybe are the usb port, but I also have a usb mouse, and in usb it go, now i keep it in ps2, for not make any HW conflict, but nothing happen, I remember that, before format, in last winXP I try usb filter, 1.1, and 2.0, but I have 1.1 usb, maybe something is happened??

Unplug it for a minute or two... plug it back in.

That resets it. It usually fixes problems with it.

sorry , you use cable modem or dialup modem ?
if dialup modem , there's no place for reset
if cable modem , usually in front or in back there's small hole or push button , so you can push or press it

get a abit board using a nForce2 chipset with network adapter.
VIA $hitset based boards are not AMDs performance potential chipsets.
