PM question

I had set my account to email me when I had new pms. The day the site went down I had received an email about a new pm but now there is nothing. Did that just happen to go when the site did? Anyone else have this happen?

A few days of posts / PMs / updates were lost because we had to reinstall everything from remote backups...
Disclaimer: Please use caution when opening messages, my grasp on reality may have shaken loose during transmission (going on rusty memory circuits), even though my tin foil hat is regularly audited for potential supply chain tampering. I also eat whatever crayons are put in front of me.
