ati all in wonder... $99! Yippee!!!

I needed an all in wonder graphics card so I could transfer the movies I download to vhs. Well, when I went to buy it from office depot; they wanted 169. Best buy wants 179 and compusa want 149, but I hate compusa. So, I decided to buy it from office depot. Well, when they rang it up... it was only $99!! Kicks apple too. I had some serious trouble watching tv due to a unknown conflict with real player, but that's all done and I'm pretty impressed. Proformance wise it's just okay, but damn it's got a lot of features.

I had the old All In Wonder Pro (8mb PCI)..
That card packed a punch! I got 20FPS in Quake 3 Arena, and thats like the same amount that a Voodoo 3 3000 would get... And the ATI was years older.
The TV Tuner ruled too.. Looked real high quality. Almost like a dvd... but not quite.
You could even record from tv (phat)..
What a nice card. Sigh... GeForce should have a TV Tuner.. I guess we'll have to wait for the "Voodoo GeForce 3 GTS" Which is said to have an HDTV decoder in it, which is AWESOME for those of us with DVD on our PC, and nice monitors (I got the best monitor.. Samsung 19" 900IFT, rated best of 2000, probably 2001 too)...
Man the new Voodoo-GeForce card is supposedly going to have around 256mb of DDR ram on it...
I WONDER what type of frame rates I am going to get!

Hehe 20FPS...I get 90FPS in Quake 3 In HIGHEST Quality That sure is smooth

"My wang is bigger than your wang" bah merc, weva. I had the AGP version of the all in wonder pro, it was the worst card I have ever bought.
