Im confused, I've got a 400 meg board but my fsb is 100meg. I mean whats the sense in having a fast board if I can only run at 100 meg ? Am I missing something here?

i assue by meg u mean mhz.

fsbs on older to new boards go 66/100/133/166/200 this is multiplied by the cpu multiplier to get ur full cpu speed. which if ur cpu is a 400mhz cpu then the multi is 4x. ur system will "talk" to its different parts at 100mhz but the cpu will process data at 400mhz.

now if u meant that u have a 400mhz fsb P4 running with a 100mhz fsb this is also normal as it is a 100mhz fsb pumped through 4 channels to get 400mhz production, not as fast as a straight 400mhz fsb but better than nothing.

hope i've helped.
