was pulling my albatron TI 4200 out of my mobo and one of the transistor/node things that stick out of the card got pulled off.
The card is still running just fine, hopefully it won't just die out

ooooooh.... drama.
well, i guess at some point you will find out why that was on there in the first place.

. may not amount to much other than a shortened lifespan of the card, depending on exactly what it was that came off. wouldn;t hurt to look up an electronics suppy store or even a TV/stereo/electronics repair shop to see if someone can solder it back on.
believe me when i say i can relate. i have had many an "oh, NO!" moment. many of which involved a screwdriver and a HSF (did manage to find the perfect tool for that, though).

Eeeeeeek! Moment:
Finish a setup, tower case open, lying on its side right by the desk, everything up and running. The screws are on the desk, I feel something run over my foot, my leg jerks upward, knee hits the desk, a screw falls right onto the mobo.....SOMEHOW, hits the Northbridge heatsink and sticks there.

My big " Oh )(*^_*^%$#" moment was when I fogot to plug the fan in on my athlon 800 heatsink. the pc shut down from heat and i went into bios to check the settings, can you say "CPU operating at 211 F" Well stupid me decided to turn the computer off and not thinking "hot heatsink" got a third degree burn plugging the fan back in. When I get my camera ill take a picture of my hand. it sucked. big scar.
