CFS3 for Christmas

Post by Scott »

I got CFS3 for Christmas and haven't opened it yet. Is it worth keeping or should I return it for something else? Got a joystick to go with it, Logitech Wingman Xtreme, same question.

Steep system requirements...your GF2 will not be able to play the game cranked up, gonna have to ratchet down the graphics on the game. I think it's a pretty awesome game, but you gotta be into flight sims.

Well, I installed it, not the best I've ever played, but it's o.k. Need a new video card, cause the graphics look horrible on mine :(

You need a real beast of a system to play the game with full everything.
Respect it.

Stupid question, but can someone who has CFS3 post the system requirements off of the box? I'm to the point of knowing I have to get another Vid card to play it. No matter what I do now, it's a no go. Don't laugh-nVidia TNT2 32mb card now and with the latest detonator drivers, the game simply doesn't load video wise. :(

System Requirments: (from the box)

Windows: 2000/XP - 128mb RAM
98/ME: 64mb RAM

Processor: 400 MHz

Video Card: 16mb/3D

There system requirements on the box isnt very detailed.

Here's a link showing the requirements from there site as well.

Hope this helps you out Blebs.

CFS3= :rolleyes:

Il-2=

These fan based movies speak for themself.

System requirments are actually good. Game was released bug free, can CFS3 say that I think not!!!Mircosoft says you need to spend money to play the game!!!!

More dogfights on-line then you can imagine. 150 people fighting on-line when I posted this message. It can peak to 400+

So what, you won't have you p-51, p-47, spitfire etc.

But they are all slated for release in the new version(Forgotten Battles), P-51, and spit will be.
added later after game is released.

Sorry I just don't understand CFS following!!!! I have played them all 1, 2, and 3. Big let downs!!!

Mine will probably end of collecting dust, along with Warcraft3 and MW4. At one time I decided not to have any games that a demo wasn't available for, guess I will have to start making good on that.

I was the first to post that the game was coming out and liked it alot the first day or two........BUT

got sick of it very fast.......Multiplayer was horrible. Single player missions were boring.

just my experience but IL2 is MUCH better.....

Ditto...I remember when we were drooling over it coming out, going gold...rushed out to get it.....drooled over the graphics for a few hours....

But...can't remember the last time I fired it up....I'm all into BF1942 now.

I built a machine just to host CFS3 games, then everybody quit playing.

I still have the pc, guess I'll have to host something else.
