Doctor says its gonna be 30,000 (arbitrary) dollars. Where does that come from? Whose Mortgaging a house to pay for that?

The bend over and grab yer ankles thing is a bit skewed.
I'm in the same line of work you (Prey) are and get about +/- 30% taken off in taxes. Is that more or less than you?

looks like a co-pay for an ER visit is 15 bucks.

looks like the total cost for for a minor head trauma is 15.00 for me.

edit> + prescriptions for pain meds (this is where it can get spendy)
