My first automobile
For sure I'll date myself by doing this - but - my first car was a 1949 Buick Dynaflow, 4 Door, Straight 6, with Auto Transmission. I was 17 yrs old, in service, home on leave, and discovered this car, 8 years old at the time, sitting in grown up bushes, behind an old neighborhood service station. The owner sold it to me for $125. - towed it up front, put gas in it and charged the battery.
I drove it back and forth beween Memphis, TN and Ft Bragg, NC, for about 18 months, without ever raising the hood, until it finally threw a rod this side of Asheville, NC. Big black wonderful highway cruiser!

'76 Malibu Coupe w/ 400 SB, ended up putting totally illegal headers and straight pipes on it before I finally killed the motor.
Tore out the front bench and put some 72 firebird bucket seats in that beeotch.
topped it off with some 13" Kragers. You wanna talk about lowriding OMG. They called it the green tamale.
