Nope SLIC is gone as far as I know. The key is also stored in a section of the BIOS not overwritten by a BIOS update. Another nice feature is you don't need custom OEM install media to use the embedded key. Any official Microsoft install media will use it.morbidpete wrote:Ahh, thought it was just a newer slic.
