I have talked with my brother-in-law who now has his citizenship. I'll tell you a story about him.

He came with a student visa. Stayed here illegally after it ran out. Kept his nose clean and met my sister. They decided to take a trip to Vancouver, BC. The US border let him out but the Canadian Border wouldn't let him into Canada so they turned around to go back into the US. Canada called the US border and he was stopped and deported to Mexico since he was an illegal. During this process he put his Drivers License in his shoe. When he got to Mexico, he went to the border, showed his ID and they let him in and he flew back home.

Tell me there isn't a problem with border security.....

After that, he married my sister,went through the process and gained his citizenship.

So don't tell me I'm ignorant of the immigration process. I'm the one who bought him a $500 watch when he got his citizenship. And you can guess the brand of watch I bought him.

If a medium build, head shaven, tan 6'3" male with a late model Chevy Tahoe is going around Orange County, NY robbing banks, I kind of expect to get stopped and questioned by the police till the actual robber is caught and I won't give the cops a hard time if/when they stop me. Hell, this law goes the extra step and doesn't allow the police to question someone they might suspect is illegal unless they've already stopped them for something else. We need to stop being so damn PC in this country and stop worrying about whom we're going to offend when we write a law that's meant to protect this country.

When you pass off your opinion as fact, that's when I respond. Thank God people stopped coming to the site because it's been peaceful since then. In Arizona, regardless of skin color, the illegals will more than likely only speak Spanish and using that, along with other things like the person acting suspicious COULD be a clue for the officer that the person may be illegal and therefore ask them for documentation.

I didn't know he was illegal at the time. So I am not the problem. My bad that I used to think like you. That is why I never asked if he was illegal.

Gee, I happen to remember not so long ago when I approached you PRIVATELY with good sound advice on how not to make yourself look foolish by posting things that weren't true. I have those private messages saved. You and I both know what was in those PM's. I always make an attempt to take the high road so as to avoid any sort of unnecessary confrontation in the public forums. Is that a sign of the self righteous?
