Hi Mark
Yes Lucinda does do it proper.
Been buying but not listening as much through the summer months & playing catchup now. Purchased a couple of her CD's "World without Tears & Little Honey" that i've yet to play. Looking forward to them.
Have a lovely weekend Mark.

I like his stuff too, especially early to mid years. Nebraska is a great album, I have it on vinyl!

YOSC
I regret to this day giving away my vinyl, turntables etc. No question it is still leading the pack in sound, though CD is getting closer all the time.
I enjoyed the ritual of cleaning and the fiddling involved with records. It's still strange to me listening for so long a time to a CD without the interruption of having to get up to flip the record over.
Lucky you.

Hah hah...yeah, I do remember when CDs first came out, and I picked up CDs of records that I already had....soon as I'd get through song 5 or 6 or whatever, out of habit I'd also be getting ready to go up and flip it. Similar with cassettes...until the newer auto reverse ones came out.

I also miss the artwork of an album, plus liner notes you could actually read. I recall how excited folks would get when an album would come out with a real Zipper on it or in the form of a burlap bag etc.. There was a couple of times i simply bought an album for its cover.
Hell half the fun was talking about the artwork as you rummaged through the racks looking for something new to buy. Just not the same with CD's
Have a great day my friend
