Does anyone live in Munster, Indiana? I have been trying to get a couple bottles of Dark Lord Imperial Stout. It's brewed by the Three Floyds Brewing company and is rated as some of the best. Only available at the brewery during tours unless you have a hook up! Each year has a different color wax seal. 13% APV and black as night - YUM.

Three Floyds Brewing opened its doors in 1996 as a very small brewery in Hammond, Indiana. Acceptance of the beers took off right away, initially as draft only products, then contract brewed bottles were added. As demand grew, we moved to Munster, added our own bottling line, and began receiving awards and compliments about our beers—according to Ratebeer. com, we are rated as the second best brewery. Currently we distribute in 10 states.

Every normal man must be tempted at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
I often wonder if the voices in my head ever get frustrated because I'm just too damn lazy to climb that clock tower.

This particular beer is NOT distributed and therein lies my debacle.
From the website:
One day a year, known as DarkLord Day, Three Floyds Brewing Co. sells DarkLord
Russian Imperial Stout.
Festival: Real BBQ,Homebrew Sampling, Raters can bring beers to trade, Benches,
Raffles, DarkLord Merch, Barrell Aged DarkLord, Slave Of the DarkLord Beer (Party Gyle)!
Bands start 2:30-3pm in the following order:
1. Dreadnok Ripper
2. Wanderers
3. Imperial Battle Snake
4. Bible of the Devil
• Cash only
• No cost to get in
• Bottle Limit will be set on the day of the event
and yes Burke, the labels look more like something from an 1980s rock album, but the brew inside is consistently given top nods.

Well after reading the website it looks like I missed Imperial Stout Day. Now I am at the mercy of the free market. I found some on eBay for ridiculous prices.Comtrad wrote:'bout 45min. from me
